Deb Ede
In her work, Ede tries to convey the emotions and feelings we all share. She calls her work "Human Landscapes" and focuses mostly on women, feeling that as a woman she knows her subjects well, and, in fact, that most of her paintings are self-portraits in some small way. She uses colour and strong line to grab the viewer and make them take a closer look and feels that if the viewer comes away having been touched in any way, then she has accomplished what she set out to do. Mostly though, Ede paints because she loves it. She finds it energizing as well as relaxing, and loves to catch a little bit of the "scenery of the soul" in her work, gratified when people recognize themselves or someone they know in the paintings.

Kurt Reichel
Coming from Europe, Kurt was facinated by aboriginal arts and that influence is carried through in much of his work today. Kurt carves, sculpts, draws, paints, scratches and cartoons his way through his art. Always intrigued by the juxtaposition of materials, he melds and shapes in smooth clean curves, always looking for that turn of the line, that glint of light. Reichel will use whatever is at hand that fits and works with his muse.
